Moy Report 25th July @ 8.30am

Height at Ballylahan bridge 0.34m

Another weather system passed through the catchment yesterday and has had a minimal impact on water levels.  Catches were also minimal yesterday with just a 1.5lb sea trout reported up to 8pm, by a small number of anglers.

Widespread showers forecast for today with some heavy ones.  Top temperature 17c in a westerly wind.  It looks like water temperatures will get a chance to fall back this week as air temperatures won’t rise much above 18c during the week!

  1. Yesterday was the best day in ages for bubble and fly. It was like the old days in foxford except that nobody was fishing. I brought a beginner down and during the heavy rain at ten he caught his three.
