Moy Report 27th July @ 8.30am

Height at Ballylahan bridge 0.60m

There was a fair amount of rain yesterday evening and the river is on the rise this morning.  It will probably creep up for most of the day and although it won’t be a big flood it should be enough to get fish moving and improve sport.  With more rain forecast tonight it looks like a proper flood is on the way.

It was another quiet day on the fishery yesterday with few anglers out and sport was slow.  Up to 8pm one fish was reported weighing 9lb, with fly the successful method.  Plenty of fish were seen showing in the lower stretches of the fishery!

Good water at the lower end of the fishery last season.
