Moy Report 25th May @ 8.30am

Height at Ballylahan bridge 0.70m

The river is in great order this morning and all methods should produce fish.  Water-levels are falling a lot quicker than we would like, so make the best of it if you can.  I hope to be out tomorrow with the fly after a bit of a break from the river.

I was talking to the waterkeeper around 6pm yesterday and reports were poor.  He had recorded five fish caught up to then.  The fish were all in the 8-9lb bracket, and none carried sea-lice. Later in the evening reports began to filter in of more fish caught including several in the fly only stretch.  The river was heavily fished again yesterday and the numbers of fish caught were thinly spread out among the rods.
