The water is in great order again today, and there should be a few fish caught. Up to 7 pm yesterday evening I heard of three fish caught on EMAA, best around 11lb. I was passing over Ballylahan bridge just after 7 pm and it was fairly busy with anglers. There were also a few fishing around Howleys and the fly water.
I haven’t been fishing myself, but hope to get out later today and also tomorrow. Some showers forecast over the next few days should help to keep the river in nice order.
